We’re getting really excited about the upcoming retreat in March, and so is Demetra.
Here’s what she had to say about the retreat in her recent newsletter:
“The focus of this weekend will be not only a mastery of the methods, but more importantly the presentation of a view that moves traditional astrology beyond the perception of it as a limiting astral fatalism. If our intention as modern counselors is to empower the individual by healing the psyche, knowing how to clearly identify the planetary patterns that indicate the deep and pervasive suffering of the soul is the first step in spiritual guidance towards transforming pain into happiness. The teachings of this weekend will be placed within a contextual view that helps us to use this ancient wisdom system to maximize the potentialities of the human spirit.”
The weekend will be a special opportunity to learn from Demetra in a unique setting in the company of a small group of traditionally minded astrologers. We hope you can join us!
We have opened registration for the 2012 South Texas Astrology Retreat with Demetra George.
