STAR 2009: Ancient Prediction with Chris Brennan
About the retreat:
The second South Texas Astrology Retreat featured Hellenistic Astrology expert Chris Brennan. The topic was a continuation of our first retreat, predictive Hellenistic techniques. Drawing from his rich background in astrology and forthcoming book, Chris lead all the attend ees through the wonders of ancient western time lord systems. The first day was spent reviewing the history of astrology of this time and the basics of Hellenistic Astrology. However, most of the weekend focused on learning the two powerful time lord systems – Profections and Zodiacal Releasing. Wrapped in blankets with cocoa in hand, the group gathered in front of the zendo to explore the Babylonian sky with Maria Mateus on Saturday evening. Every participant enjoyed spotting stars with the laser pointers, despite the sudden change of temperature. Once again, the food was fabulous, the wine flowed, and conversation went on until all hours.
