STAR 2008: Hellenistic Roots with Joseph Crane
About the retreat:
The first Texas Astrology Retreat took place in February 2008, featuring an introduction to Hellenistic Astrology. Author and astrologer Joseph Crane led the workshop; his lively presentation made the traditional materials accessible to new students. Workshop participants from various astrological traditions, including Modern, Vedic and Hellenistic, also helped create a wonderfully diverse and collegial atmosphere. The weekend also featured a lecture by Maria Mateus on Astrology, Predictive Techniques and Aristotelian Philosophy, as well as fabulous vegetarian-friendly food, and late night stargazing and conversations around the bonfire.
